Welder

Welder Responsibilities
- Perform welding using MIG (hardwire) processes.
- Properly adjust and maintain welding machines for optimal performance.
- Accurately use a tape measure to lay out and verify dimensions.
- Fit and assemble steel components according to specifications.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (preferred but not required).
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to A-FAB’s quality standards.
Fitter Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Use a tape measure, squares, and other tools to lay out and verify dimensions.
- Assemble and fit steel components according to specifications.
- Work closely with welders to prepare parts for fabrication and final assembly.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- Maintain tools and work area in a clean and organized manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
